I read it cause I like you and 30 years ago or so I was diagnosed as manic-depressive hypo mania. I admitted myself to a hospital. I got out and continued my life. I've been down many roads since.

nice!!

D uses something called F.A.T. City with high school kids to help recreate what it is like to have learning disablities. This kind of reminds me of that - in the same spirit.

Good find Bradley :) Hoo!

I love PSAs (okay, I'm a bleed heart), but this one was done especially well. I love the artwork. It made the message especially meaningful!!

Do you know if there is a Bipolar awareness, day, week or month? I did an article before and I'd like to rework it and post it during that time...it was sort of like my Depression one with the exception that I don't have the inside experience. My therapist and I call the weather we've been having bipolar. This week I've gone from shorts/tank top to long warm sleeves/long pant. We've had a 40 temperature change.

Clueless,
You have amazing timing. I was looking up this info to see if we can have an awareness day at my church. Here's what I found:

October is Disability Awareness Month

During that month there is:

A mental illness awareness week

A bipolar awareness day and a depression screening day, which typically have been on the same day.

I can't find the exact dates this year, but remind me in about a month and I'll see if I can find out. I need to contact DBSA about some things anyway.
